Customer success manager is an online marketplace dedicated to helping homeowners find quality tradesmen through the power of reviews. Our mission is to change the building industry. To achieve this we need the best tradespeople and that’s where our Customer Success team comes in.

Your responsibilities

Your task is to help great tradespeople achieve their business goals through MyBuilder. You will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, helping to inspire loyalty with every contact. In a typical day you might:

  • Offer tailored advice to a new builder who is struggling to win his first job
  • Troubleshoot an app related issue over the phone with a plasterer
  • Support a successful bricklayer who just received his first negative review
  • Visit a plumber to find out how MyBuilder got her business off the ground
  • Explain the benefits of our no refund policy to a frustrated tiler
  • Share what you learned today with the rest of the team

The right person

We’re looking for people who understand the value of fantastic customer service. Our trade members can be uncompromising at times, so you must be confident, positive and unflappable. We want people who are not afraid to pick up the phone and take pride in writing a great email. To get the most out of this role, you should be genuinely interested in helping people. We don’t expect you to be a coding wizard but you should feel comfortable using technology and the internet. The ability to touch-type wouldn’t hurt either.
