As one of our Customer support managers, your main responsibility will be assisting all of our customers and helping to resolve their enquiries. MyBuilder is a marketplace so you can expect to handle a wide variety of interesting cases from homeowners and builders. From coming up with new ways of turning disengaged tradesmen into advocates, to advising homeowners and builders in dispute, our customers will challenge and expect the best from you.

Some of our trade customers are more comfortable using tools than tablets, and find using the web to win work tough going. Customer Success will be one of your key goals so you will be focused on educating our tradesmen and helping them get the most out of MyBuilder.

The front line of product development

Customer Service is the eyes and ears of our business. Insights you gain from regular customer conversations will help to shape how we develop MyBuilder and improve the experience for all our users. We never settle for ‘good enough’ so you will enjoy participating in regular, lively discussions about ‘making it better’.

Are you right for MyBuilder?

We want to meet individuals who can talk with conviction about why great customer service matters. You must be able to build rapport with others easily, express genuine empathy, yet know when and how to say no. You should enjoy talking to people over the phone and be very good at it. Your written communication skills must also be impeccable.

Previous experience in a service or sales role would be beneficial, but not essential. Whatever your background, you must be able to handle challenging service issues with a genuine smile on your face.

MyBuilder is a web business so you should have technical aptitude and more than just a passing interest in the internet. You must be willing to work occasional weekends.
