Performance marketing manager

MyBuilder is a marketplace that matches homeowners with vetted, reviewed tradesmen. We’ve been growing successfully for the past eight years without the need for heavy marketing, but now we’re expanding our fledgling marketing team to take us to the next level. We’re looking for an ambitious Performance Marketing Manager with the desire to make a big difference.

The role

Reporting to our new Head of Marketing, the Performance Marketing Manager will initially take ownership of paid search with responsibilities growing over time. You will be managing a budget by creating effective campaigns through paid search and other online channels to ensure targets are met. You’ll be expected to come up with creative solutions and be confident enough to experiment with the process to increase growth whilst maintaining ROI, reporting back regularly with results and learning’s.

We understand search marketing. It’s a core part of our business so we place a lot of importance on getting it right. You’ll be working with outstanding colleagues and have the opportunity to make a real impact in a company that places its customers at the heart of everything it does. As a founder-led organisation, decisions can be made quickly which will make it easy for you to move swiftly from idea to execution.

This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a marketing team in an already thriving business, the role will suit someone with a desire to drive paid search and exploit new opportunities in an expanding market. The right person

To be suitable for this role you’ll need these skills:

  • 3-5 years track record of managing successful ppc, display and affiliate campaigns</li>
  • Knowledge in all areas of PPC best practice</li>
  • Adwords and Google Analytics will be second nature</li>
  • Strong analytical skills with an advanced knowledge of Excel</li>
  • An interest in e-commerce marketing and other online marketing channels</li>
  • Interest in good coffee, craft beer and nerf guns optional</li>
