PPC manager

MyBuilder is an online marketplace dedicated to helping homeowners find quality tradespeople through the power of reviews. We are a hard working, close-knit team dedicated to creating an incredible product. Our headquarters reflect our unique culture; we have an office bar, a staff band, darts and table football, and a volunteer lunch team.

Ilias, our PPC manager, is moving on to pastures new after two successful years with us, so we’re looking for someone to take the reins and make a positive impact on a key acquisition channel. Why not join the team that Ilias describes as “the best environment I’ve ever worked in.”

The role

As PPC manager, you’ll be taking care of online paid acquisition for MyBuilder. We’ve got large, established Google and Bing PPC accounts which you will be responsible for; checking results, adjusting spend and optimising ad groups/campaigns to drive better results based on our strategic aims. You will also be responsible for display/remarketing campaigns and Facebook advertising.

As a marketplace, we are driven by demand so your initiative and ability to analyse data will ensure we are spending in the right places and reacting to seasonal trends. You will develop relationships with our Google and Bing account managers and spend time with other team members to understand how you can use digital marketing to help deliver better results for the business.

Finally, you will use your weekly reports (PPC, display, remarketing and search trends) to analyse trends and make recommendations to amend our strategy. You will also be asked to assist with other reporting needs on an ad-hoc basis.

The right person

To be considered for the role you will have at least two years’ experience working with PPC and other paid channels. You will have proven experience of managing large accounts and making recommendations based on performance. Technically, you will have advanced knowledge of AdWords, Keyword Editor, Bing, Excel, Facebook ads and Google Analytics. Experience in SEO would also prove valuable.

We’re a small, dedicated team, so you should be willing to muck in, support the wider team where necessary and do what it takes to get the job done. Our paid accounts are a key revenue stream with a relatively large budget, so you should be prepared to take this responsibility seriously. Finally, we’re a fun and lively team to be around so we’ll be looking for someone who enjoys this culture!

How to apply

We have filled this role and are not currently looking. However you are welcome to send in your CV for us to keep on file.
