Our bright and spacious office is located bang in the centre of Clerkenwell (the most interesting creative hotspot in London), with great surrounding areas of East London, including Shoreditch, Old Street and Angel! We are looking for a world-class Head of Human Resources to join our team.
There’s nothing more important than people - they’re our most valuable asset. Our business has grown quickly and we’re now transitioning from scrappy startup to a more mature company. We need someone who can help us do that while retaining our unique culture and all the things that make MyBuilder great.
The head of human resources will own our people strategy and help make MyBuilder a fantastic place to work. As part of the management team, you will help us shape positive organisational change in support of our short and long-term strategic goals. Hiring is one of our biggest priorities and you will drive our recruitment strategy, creating an enviable employer brand and helping us recruit the very best people. You will champion personal development, leading and delivering HR programs that enable employees and managers to exceed their goals. We will turn to you for expert advice on employment law, HR best practices and sensitive employee-related issues. You will also own our employee handbook, ensuring our policies are fit for purpose, up to date & in line with current legislation.
Who we’re looking for
The candidate we’re hoping to meet is someone at the top of their game and ready to make an impact at a growing business. You should be a dynamic and positive leader who can influence others and guide teams through challenging organisational issues. You will be an experienced coach, able to advise and counsel employees across all levels of the business. You will have experience of managing large-scale recruitment programmes and building employer brands. Because we’re still a small business, you should be as comfortable managing HR admin as you are in the boardroom.
