The role

For this role, we are looking for someone who will approach all of their responsibilities with dedication, creativity and enthusiasm - whether that’s ensuring the fridge is filled with tasty morsels, leading a wellbeing initiative, repairing a cupboard door or designing a surprise event to delight the team. You will thrive on being the go-to person for all office-related matters and deem no job too big or too small, nor any task beneath you.

The person

Personal qualities resonate with us more than formal qualifications and an extensive CV, though experience in a similar role would be ideal. Our ideal candidate will be smart and naturally inquisitive, qualities that will help you learn about what makes your colleagues tick and what they need from an office in order to deliver their best. You will have eyes in the back of your head and always be two steps ahead, anticipating needs and fixing problems before you’re asked. You should have a service outlook; always looking to help others, manage expectations and deal with requests in a timely manner. You will have a confident and engaging personality - MyBuilder is a dynamic company and you will need to build relationships across the business to get stuff done. And last but not least, you will take pride in a job done well and approach everything you do with boundless energy, positivity and enthusiasm to make MyBuilder a fantastic place to work!

About the Operations Team

No two days are the same at MyBuilder, and you'll never hear the words, 'Not my job'. This is true for everyone who works here, especially the ops team. Made up of finance, legal, recruiting, and general office management, the ops team makes sure that the company is not only functioning but thriving, keeping the fridge stocked, running events, and maintaining a healthy pipeline of candidates.

Our London Office

Our London office is in the heart of Dickensian Clerkenwell, a short hop from Farringdon station amid some of the best pubs, restaurants and coffee shops in London. Exmouth Market is on our doorstep, but if you just want to hang out in the office, that’s fine too - we have two floors stuffed with high-end tech, an espresso machine, fridges packed with snacks and drinks, and lots of games to play.
